This week we will continue to practice our Daily 5 activities paying close attention to expected behaviors. We will talk about different reading strategies that we can use to help us decode words. ("Does it look right? Does it sound right? Does is make sense?") And I will also begin administering reading assessments this week.
We will be studying adjectives!
We will continue our study on number sense this week by exploring place value. We will finish the week by post testing on number sense. Next week we will begin our addition unit with a pretest on Monday!
We will be introduced to the constitution on Monday for Constitution day. We will also study good citizenship this week!
Student driven interest based study
We will look at how to listen to learn! Ask you student to tell you what a listen body looks like? What are their hands, feet, ears, eyes and brain doing?
